IDEAL Continues to Highlight Electrician’s Skill as Stay Wired-to-Win Moves onto Challenge 3

EIN IDEAL wired 400

August 6, 2020

IDEAL continues to recognize the essential work electricians are doing during this global crisis.  While the annual IDEAL® National Championship has been postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak, the ‘Stay Wired to Win’ program aims to keep the electrical community engaged during this time.

The program, which began in June and runs until November 2020, is open to any electrician from the U.S. or Canada. Each month, IDEAL and one of their partners present an electrical challenge (such as conduit bending or wiring a receptacle) to help electricians keep their skills sharp and the competitive juices flowing. IDEAL is excited to announce Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage as the August sponsor, as its July partnership with Duluth Trading Company comes to an end.

Challenge entries are submitted digitally on IDEALnationals.com

Five student/apprentices and five professional winners are announced each month – each winner will receive $500 IDEALCash along with prizes provided by that month’s partner. They will also earn a spot to compete in the Stay Wired to Win Finals, which will take place in November. For this virtual event, the top 50 competitors across the challenges will come together to compete for the title of Champion.
