I am doing a service upgrade/relocation from 100amp to 200. I was thinking about keeping the existing 100amp panel as subpanel. Do the 15 amp breakers have to be changed to arc fault. This is in Manitoba

We are considering registering our son for the month electrical pre-apprenticeship program at Skilled Trades College in the GTA. Is this a reputable school/program? Would any of you higre a graduate from this program or is there another program that we should be looking at?

In my opinion pre apprentichip schooling is often a waste of time and money. Safety training would be much more valuable. First aid, CSTS, Elevated work platform, WHIMIS.. with these items in place this reduces the cost to hire a new to the trade person and puts him on the top of my list for interviews.

If allowed, under WHAT circumstances are you allowed to run an electrical receptacle inside a wood-burning fireplaces firebox in order to install a fireplace insert and plug in the blower?

I wish to know the stability of the electrical wiring in household kitchen and laundry appliances. I do recall seeing this report prior to 2006 and was hoping to see a newer one. The first report made quite a difference in the residential tenancies market for instance so am searching for a similar report that is more recent.

Running a continuous ground in transformers, sometimes there is a group of lugs that make it a pain in the butt to run the continuous ground through. I'm surprised that by now there isn't some special lug just for this purpose, to make this process effortless, and more effective. Even a little sexy looking. This old system has to go. Cheers, I love this trade! 30yrs

Accessories are very important in our lives. Some in the corner we will ignore, if it is not the existence of accessories, we will feel a lot of inconvenience.
