Klein ToolsKlein Tools has added five new products to its Tradesman Pro Organizers line of tool bags. “We do a lot of jobsite research before we begin design on new tool bags,” explained product manager Linda Rolfe.  “To upgrade our top selling original six Tradesman Pro tool bags, we surveyed more than 4,000 electricians and incorporated their feedback to make these bags even more durable and functional including many unique features.”

First up is the Lighted Tool Bag which features a twist on/twist off LED light that can be positioned to illuminate inside the bag or the workspace.  The Work Light, sold separately, has a swivel hook and magnet for hands free use.  It comes with 31 pockets, a bright orange interior to find tools faster, and a durable molded base that protects from the elements.

Next, the 17” Tool Tote has an attached cover that protects tools and a movable metal handle bar with rubber grip.  There are 17 pockets, plus a wide open section for drills and zipper bags.  The base is also molded and the interior is bright orange. The

Then there is the Tradesman Pro Drill Pouch, which Klein says fits most impact and battery drills has a strap closure to keep the drill in place.  It comes with plenty of storage for a variety of drill bits and attaches to most tool belts up to 2” wide.

Tradesman Pro Hard Cases come in medium and large sizes, and sport the hard outer shell for tool protection.

Klein also made improvements to the six original Tradesman Pro Organizers, adding include lock bars for the Extreme and Ultimate Electrician’s Tool Bags to keep the bags propped open.  The backpack is now taller to accommodate long screwdrivers and a large zipper pocket was added for storing small parts and tools.  The 8” and 10” totes and shoulder pouch also now come with fully molded bases for better stability and protection.

Case Study: EikoPro Electric LLC had a customer that had just constructed a new horse barn and was looking to light it quickly. The barn was designed to be lit with ten high bay lights for maximum efficacy and efficiency. Together with EiKO’s distributor partner, Platt Electric Redmond located in Redmond, Oregon, Pro Electric selected the EiKO 200W BAY-C high bay fixture, which puts out an impressive 30,000+ lumens at a 5000K color temperature. This high lumen output and the long life of the fixture – 72,000 hours – made it an ideal choice for the application.

Obviously, when lighting a barn, the security and safety of the animals, riders, and care givers is paramount. EiKO’s LED high bay products fill the space with light, eliminating shadows and blind spots.

It was in this office that some counsellor suggested becoming an electrician, and Tom’s interest was piqued. “I knew from that point on what field of studies I needed to focus on to become an electrician,” Tom said.
