In fall 2014, UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon exhorted all countries to raise the ambitions of their climate change policies to avoid a global temperature increase of more than 2oC during this century. New housing construction investment totalled $4.0 billion in February, an increase of 6.4% compared with the same month in 2016.
As a major representative of the electrical and automation industry, Electro Federation Canada remains committed to supporting its members and the industry overall in navigating the complexities of international trade policies.
Section 36 – High Voltage Installations applies to installations operating above 750 volts, which require special rules and conditions because high voltage arcs can travel through free air and along the surface of some materials.
Contractors’ prices for new non-residential building construction rose 0.8% in the fourth quarter. Higher prices to build industrial (+0.9%), commercial (+0.7%) and institutional (+0.9%) structures all contributed to the gain.
