Lumen’s New Headquarters and Distribution Centre in Laval Earns LEED Certification

LEED Award

 March 7, 2017

Lumen is proud to announce that its new headquarters and distribution centre in Laval has been awarded the LEED certification. Serge Leblanc, President of Lumen received this coveted certification from Julie-Anne Chayer, Chairman of the Board of the Quebec Chapter of Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), in presence of François Anquetil, President of Sonepar Canada and Marc Demers, Mayor of Laval.

Completed in July 2015, this 385,000 sq. feet facility is located along Autoroute 440 West, near all metropolitan transportation routes. In an effort to minimize its impact on the local community, Lumen purposely designed its new facility based on the highest standards in durability and energy efficiency. This initiative paid off by meeting the stringent LEED criteria of the Canada Green Building Council.
