Atkore Weatherproof Device Box Covers Protect Connections in Washdown Applications and Harsh Environments

January 29, 2023

Atkore’s Calbrite weatherproof device box covers and in-use covers are designed to protect electrical circuits positioned in wet locations and harsh environments. Calbrite’s UL Listed, NEMA 4X approved weatherproof single-gang blank covers protect device boxes or boxes not in use. Offering protection for all indoor and outdoor blanks, GFCI’s, switches and receptacles, these covers accommodate multiple wiring devices.

Made in the USA, each blank cover is manufactured in 316 stainless steel and polished in Calbrite’s “brite” finish for superior corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance across a wide range of temperatures. UL Listed for wet, damp, and dry locations (UL514D, UL 50E), Calbrite’s box covers are labeled with hygienic laser etch markings to eliminate harboring points. Spring loaded, self-closing lids with neoprene gaskets offer additional weatherproof protection. These weatherproof covers mount to all Calbrite stainless steel device boxes, include mounting hardware and are easy to install.

Calbrite’s weatherproof device box covers feature an in-use cover ideal for outdoor wiring and high-traffic areas that require durability as well as providing the necessary safety precautions.

“These NEMA 4X weatherproof device covers offer customers long-lasting solutions for applications involving multiple wiring devices exposed to intense temperatures and wet conditions.” says Matt Westerfield, Calbrite Product Manager.
