Celebrating its 25th edition, the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair is set to illuminate the global lighting industry once again from October 27 to 30, 2023.

This highly anticipated event, hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, promises to showcase a wide range of state-of-the-art lighting innovations and trends, as well as provide ample business opportunities for industry professionals to connect with others and learn about new product developments. The event is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and will run alongside the 8th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo from October 26 to 29, 2023, which features commercial and industrial light fixtures from many world-renowned brands at the AsiaWorld-Expo.

For the first time, the fair is being held in EXHIBITION+ hybrid mode, meaning that buyers have the opportunity not only to source products at the fair physically, but also through fair websites and the hktdc.com sourcing platform. The fair also offers the chance to foster new partnerships and connect with more buyers through the Click2Match online smart business matching platform, where buyers can connect with local and overseas exhibitors. The opportunity to use Click2Match runs from October 19 to Nov 6, 2023

The theme of this year’s fair is “Light Up Every Opportunity” which will be highlighted by over 3,100 exhibitors from the two lighting fairs all over the world. Additionally, there will be many seminars offered throughout the event that highlight this theme and touch upon sustainability, energy efficiency, smart products, and testing and product certification practices – among many other topics. Renowned speakers at the seminars include but are not limited to:  Mr. Jean-Marie Croué, Délégué Général from Syndicat du Luminaire GIL; Ir Prof. Lu Lin Vivien, Professor from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Mr. Eric Shiu and Mr. Frankie Tsang, Associate Directors from TinoKwan Lighting Consultants Ltd.; Representatives of Connectivity Standards Alliance Member Group China (CMGC); Representatives of Shanghai Pudong Intelligent Lighting Association.
