ELECTRI has sponsored a research project to create a playbook for electrical contractors that will help you:

  1. Understand rework culture.
  2. Identify and understand problems causing rework.
  3. Turn mistakes into learning opportunities.
  4. Strategically reduce rework.

Unpaid rework refers to activities in the field (including prefabrication) that have to be done more than once, or activities that remove work previously installed as part of the project, where no change order has been issued, and no change of scope has been identified by the Owner.
