Schneider Electric Brings Intelligent Energy Management to Life at Union Station
August 24, 2026
Schneider Electric Canada is unveiling an immersive activation at Toronto’s Union Station that demonstrates how intelligent energy management quietly supports one of Canada’s busiest transportation hubs.
The installation transforms Union Station’s digital displays into a connected “living energy dashboard,” creating a synchronized visual experience inspired by the flow of energy across complex systems. Rather than functioning as standalone advertisements, the displays work together to illustrate how intelligent energy management adapts to changing demand and helps maintain reliable operations behind the scenes.
As Canada continues to focus on AI, electrification, data centres, grid modernization and energy resilience, Schneider Electric is using a real customer environment to demonstrate how energy, automation and digital technologies support the critical infrastructure Canadians rely on every day. The activation makes complex energy systems more tangible by bringing them to life in an environment commuters already know and use.
The Union Station activation anchors a broader integrated initiative spanning out-of-home, digital video, social media and LinkedIn, extending the conversation around intelligent energy management beyond the station.
The activation was developed in collaboration with several agency partners. McCann Canada led the brand creative, strategy and media planning, while OCX oversaw creative production and BUCK brought the visual design and animation to life. Grayson Music Group developed the sound design, and Branded Cities supported the out-of-home execution at Union Station. Meta and LinkedIn extended the experience through social and video placements, while Golin Canada led public relations, executive thought leadership and the earned media strategy surrounding the activation.
