Procore Groundbreak 2026

Procore Groundbreak returns to Orlando, Florida on October 21-22, bringing together building professionals from across North America to discuss technology, productivity, and the evolution of the construction industry.

This year’s theme, “Building and Succeeding Together in the Age of AI,” puts artificial intelligence at the heart of the debate. The program will explore how AI and connected project data are being used to improve productivity, facilitate decision-making, and address some of the challenges faced by construction companies.

For electrical contractors, these discussions are of particular importance. Electrical projects generate an enormous amount of information — from plans and specifications to requests for information, quotes, schedules, budgets and site documentation. At the same time, entrepreneurs are facing labor shortages, increasingly complex projects, and the pressure to improve productivity.

These issues are also highlighted in Procore’s “2026 Canadian Construction Forecast,” which identifies infrastructure growth, workforce challenges, AI adoption, public procurement, and productivity among the factors shaping the Canadian market.

Groundbreak will feature more than 80 sessions covering topics such as AI, productivity, workforce, decision-making, and construction technologies. Keynote speakers include Ajei Gopal, CEO of Procore, and Zack Kass, AI Advisor.

The show will also allow attendees to learn about the technologies and services offered by the entire construction industry.

For those who are already using Procore, hands-on labs are also offered on topics such as budget management, reporting, configurations, RFIs, submissions, and new product features.

This event is not limited to software. Groundbreak brings together contractors and construction professionals to share their approaches to common challenges and how to adapt to changes in the industry. While there are significant differences between the Canadian and U.S. markets, many of the underlying issues — labour, productivity, coordination, cost containment and project complexity — are common on both sides of the border.

The construction industry is generating more information than ever before, while project teams have limited time to manage it. How contractors collect, connect, and use this information is becoming an increasingly important aspect of project delivery.

Groundbreak provides an opportunity for electrical contractors to learn about the latest advancements in construction technology, learn how other contractors are using it, and examine how AI and connected project data could integrate into their own operations.
