Electrical College of Canada Changes Name to Skilled Trades College of Canada

Skilled Trades Colleges

Expanded program offerings have led the Ontario-based college to change its name to Skilled Trades College of Canada. The college has campuses in Mississauga and Vaughan.

Programs now include the following:
• Construction and Maintenance Electrician Pre-Apprentice
• Plumbing Pre-Apprentice
• General Contracting Technician
• Network Cabling Technician.
These programs focus on safety knowledge, basic theory, and hands-on experience through simulated work environments in the lab, providing young adults and those looking to change careers with the fundamentals necessary to begin an apprenticeship in the skilled trades.
