2021 Manitoba Working at Heights available classes:

Every Wednesday and Friday

Virtual Online Learning is a remote Hazmasters’ instructor led instruction.

These safety courses are designed specifically to address the Theory (knowledge) Module of safety. It is to be used in conjunction with formal comprehensive in-person practical training by a subject competent instructor.

The Instructor will conduct the course live via the internet and be speaking to a virtual classroom through a web camera.

Each student can participate via a variety of devices (PC, Smart Phone, Tablet) and will sign in individually via their chosen device.

The instructor and students can engage in discussions in real-time throughout the learning day.

Virtual Online Learning will provide a similar experience as our regular in-person courses just delivered virtually.

Hazmasters instructors will be verifying attendance through roll call and tests.

The online platform also reports on who attended, how interested they were, what questions they asked and answered.

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be issued a theory certificate the same as was done for in-class training.

These courses must be combined with a comprehensive in-person practical training component and evaluation.

Practical Training is to be used in conjunction with the theory module of safety.

After the Theory module., comprehensive in-person practical training can be scheduled at Hazmasters within one (1) month completing the learning course.

OR the employer can appoint a subject competent person, complete the in-person practical components of the training in house.

A sample checklist will be provided to assist with the elements required for the practical evaluation of the employee’s knowledge and skill, appropriate to the course completed.
