FSR Renewal Reminder from TSBC

April 15, 2024

As the certification renewal period approaches, TSBC wants to remind you of the importance of having active Field Safety Representatives (FSRs) on your licence.

Failure to renew the FSR certification will result in the following:

  • If they are the primary FSR named on a contractor licence, the contractor license status will be placed on hold
  • FSR will no longer be authorized to submit declarations for installation permits
  • FSR will not be permitted to obtain new installation permits
  • FSR will not be able to represent an asset owner on any new or existing operating permit(s)

All FSR certificate renewals require continuing education. Learn more about renewal requirements here.

Renewal can be completed online through your Online Services account:

  • Log in to your Online Services account.
  • Navigate to the Certificates tab.
  • Click the Action dropdown.
  • Select “Renew Certificate”.

For the best results, TSBC recommends using your desktop to renew online, as those using mobile may encounter errors.

Certificates can be renewed up to one year in advance without impacting the duration of the certificate’s validity. Please note that there may be potential delays in the renewal processing. To avoid any disruptions to your certification status, TSBC encourages you to renew your certification early. Early renewal does not reduce the active status of your certification.

If you have already renewed your FSR certification, please disregard this message.

If you have questions, please contact the TSBC team.
