Hammond Power Solutions Inc. Q1 2015 Results up 5.3% from Q1 2014

Hammond Power Solutions Inc. announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2015. Sales for the quarter-ended March 28, 2015 were $63,137,000, an increase of $3,184 or 5.3% from Q1, 2014 sales of $59,953,000. The company has been lifted by a modestly improved, construction, alternative energy, and project market segments. International sales for Q1, 2015 finished at $7,336,000 versus $8,276,000 in Q1, 2014, a decrease of $940 or 11.4%.

Hydro One Injects $5.7 Million into Prescott Infrastructure

Hydro One recently announced the completion of $5.7 million of improvements to the electricity infrastructure in the Prescott area. The investment increased the electrical capacity to the area by installing a new 44 kv power line. This improvement will ensure there is enough electrical capacity for the growing Prescott and Morrisburg areas.

NESCO offers Bridgeport Grounding Locknuts from 3/4” to 4” Trade Sizes

Bridgeport now offers Grounding Locknuts from 3/4” to 4” Trade Sizes. These locknuts are ETL Listed for use with all of Bridgeport Fittings’ EMT and Rigid connectors, as well as threaded Rigid/IMC conduit. Bridgeport’s grounding locknuts provide a secure connection to the enclosure, and three tapped holes for proper placement of the ground lug. When thread length is limited, these can be used in place of a grounding bushing and standard locknut. Simply remove the standard locknut and thread on the grounding locknut. Bridgeport’s locknuts are also suitable for Service Entrance Equipment.

This collaboration fulfills a need among policy makers, who are keenly interested in smart grid deployment. By leveraging the existing network of ISGAN experts the Ask an Expert service can now provide no-cost assistance with smart grid program design to countries around the world.
