Alberta continues to lead the country with the highest hourly rate for electrical contractors, followed closely by Manitoba. New Brunswick has the lowest hourly rate.

Value of Canadian Building Permits Rose 4% in January
The total value of building permits issued by Canadian municipalities increased 4.0% to $9.2 billion in January. Increases were reported in six provinces, led by British Columbia (+52.1% to $2.2 billion).
National Building Permits Rise for June, led by Ontario

Overall, the total value of investment in building construction edged up 0.1% to $22.8 billion in August.
