AEMC® Instruments Introduces the NEW Point-to-Point Continuity Tester Model CA 6011

January 19, 2026

The Model CA 6011 Continuity Tester is a unique wrist-worn point-to-point testing meter designed to quickly verify continuity across large interconnected systems. Built for speed and repeatability, it takes the guesswork out of testing so you can move through even large systems with ease and confidence.

Its 200 mA output, automatic polarity reversal, and precision continuity probe (available in the Testing Kit), ensures accurate confirmation of conductive paths even in hard-to-reach places. It easily verifies lightning conductors, EGCs, motor frames, signal grounds and cabinets by connecting to a ground bus or lug and contacting the component under test at any point on the system.

The Model CA 6011 can activate an audible alarm, vibrate or both when a low resistance range is measured, ensuring the operator a conductive path exists between the two paths.

Features

  • Comfortable, lightweight wrist-worn instrument for hands-free use
  • Lead compensation for more accurate measurements
  • 200 mA test current with automatic polarity reversal
  • Constant operation — continuously measures — no need to press abutton to start or stop a test.
  • Audible and vibration alarm settings
  • Checks connections over long distances
  • Commissioning or troubleshooting bonded non-current carrying conductive paths to earth
  • Compatible with AEMC Instruments ground testing accessories (works with our reel kits)
  • 300 V CAT IV safety rating

Applications

  • Lightning protection
  • Data centers
  • Solar/renewable energy
  • Utilities
  • Swimming pool grounds
  • Traffic Management
  • MSHA
