Hydrel Expands SAF Offering With 100DEG Distribution

September 30, 2024

Hydrel has announced the expansion of its SAF architectural floodlight family to include a 100DEG distribution option.

The SAF floodlight family illuminates more with less luminaire; its minimalist design blends into the architecture in a variety of applications. To ensure the projector withstands challenging outdoor environments, it features an IP68 rating, and Flow-Thru and Taper-Lock technologies. The luminaire is available with Quad Tech RGBW so there are no striations or color separation. And it delivers up to 18,000 lumens.

With the addition of the 100DEG option, the family now offers 13 distribution choices for even more versatility. Its distinctive beam enhances after-hours lighting design for applications such as pathway lighting, building facades, or trees with wide trunks.

This 100DEG beam ensures that light is distributed more evenly across a surface: it blends light, creating soft, ambient illumination that contributes to an inviting atmosphere. Designers may select the unique 100DEG beam for all luminaires in the SAF family, excluding FLAME.
