September 27, 2023

STUDSON Safety Helmets is proud to announce that after thousands of units presold, the STUDSON SHK-1 Full Brim Type II Safety helmet is now available for purchase.

SHK-1 Full Brim Vented – available in six colorways.

SHK-1 Full Brim Non-Vented – available in five colorways.

  • STUDSON launched the SHK-1 Full Brim Type II Safety Helmet to fill the industrial safety helmet gap. In the U.S. construction industry, 68 percent of TBIs are caused by work-related falls, yet traditional hard hats only protect against falling objects.
  • The SHK-1 Full-Brim safety helmet was developed as an extension of the leading SHK-1 safety helmet, to enable workers who prefer a full-brim-style helmet to enjoy the improved protection of a Type II certified safety helmet. It offers more protection for workers from the elements, including more shade from the sun and redirecting rainfall/snow away from the face and neck.
