Houle: Progress is Underway at Surrey Memorial Hospital’s New Renal Centre

October 17, 2025

Houle recently released an update on the Surrey Memorial Hospital project they are currently working on.

“We’re proud to be delivering comprehensive electrical and technology solutions for this project, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, access control, and PA/AV systems,” the company said on LinkedIn. “With the roof now complete, our crews are actively advancing through the interior rough-in stage. Construction of the electrical rooms is well underway, and wire pulling is in progress, as well as the completion of duct bank work and the remainder of the underground scope.”

“To support precision and productivity, our teams are using 3D models on tablets to guide the installation of materials and equipment, streamlining workflows and reducing rework compared to traditional methods. We’re excited to see the Renal Centre taking shape — bringing together innovation, technology, and collaboration to help deliver a smarter, more efficient healthcare environment.”
