BC Honours Electrical Training Advocate with 2015 Lieutenant Governor Safety Award

LT Governor Safety Award

Andy Cleven, a member of the BC Safety Authority’s Electrical Joint Training Committee, is one of seven recipients of BC’s highest safety honour, a Lieutenant Governor Safety Awards.

The awards, to be presented on November 23, recognize individuals and organizations demonstrating exceptional leadership, achievement or innovation in the promotion of technical systems safety in BC.

Andy Cleven has 43 years of experience as an electrical journeyperson and the Director of the Electrical Joint Training Committee. He also serves on a number of committees including the National Electrical Trades Council steering committee.

“BC Safety Authority is proud to recognize the exceptional work of these individuals and organizations,” says Catherine Roome, President and CEO of BC Safety Authority. “Their efforts go above and beyond, which creates public confidence in safety systems.
