Horizon Utilities Wins Silver Award for Top Canadian Healthy Workplace

Horizon Silver Award

The local utility, based in Hamilton and St. Catharines, ON, is one of 19 award recipients across Canada and is the only electric utility to make the 2015 list of winners for this designation.

The award is based on Excellence Canada’s Canadian Healthy Workplace Framework, developed in partnership with Health Canada and in association with professionals from the health and wellness sectors. Winners were recognized at the 31st Annual Canada Awards for Excellence ceremony held on October 29 to recognize exceptional performance in the following areas: Innovation & Wellness, Quality,Healthy Workplace, and Mental Health at Work.
