EHRC Recognizes Extraordinary Achievers

December 16, 2016

On December 8, Electrical Human Resources Canada (EHRC) hosted its Awards of Excellence ceremony in Toronto at the St. Andrew Club & Conference Centre.

The ceremony included two keynote addresses from Serge Imbrogno, Deputy Minister of Energy Ontario, who discussed the outlook of energy in the province, and Bruce Campbell, President and CEO of the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO).

In addition to the Keynotes, EHRC shared some big news of its own. The current chair Norm Fraser, Chief Operating Officer, Hydro Ottawa is going to be retiring, and as a result will be stepping down from his position as chair. It was announced that Vice Chair Jim Kellett would be taking his place.

The audience congratulated Norm on his achievements thus far, and gave Jim a very warm welcome. The main event, however, was the awards ceremony, which celebrated extraordinary achievements and gave national recognition to the recipients who work tirelessly to make a positive and tangible impact within their workforce.

Here is a list of this year’s winners:
