Become a Member of BCSA’s Electrical Technology Advisory Committee

Safety Authority

 

BC Safety Authority (BCSA) is currently recruiting members for its Electrical Technology Advisory Committee. This committee is a formal advisory group, created to facilitate consultation within the electrical industry.

The Electrical Technology Advisory Committee is looking for expertise in the following areas:

• associations (1 position open)  — special consideration given to associations who represent electrical contractors and/or other members of the electrical industry
• contractors (2 positions open)  — special consideration given to contractors who are certified individuals and those that are well connected within the electrical contractor community
• asset owners (1 position open)  — special consideration will be given to representatives from the pulp and paper industry or representatives with diverse backgrounds
• utilities (1 position open)  — must have technical expertise

If you, or someone you know has expertise in one of the above categories, we encourage you to learn more and apply before August 21, 2017. Successful candidates will be contacted for interviews.

Advisory committees identify and advise BCSA on issues related to

  • technical safety
  • regulatory improvement
  • service delivery

The committees are not decision-making bodies but can provide recommendations to BCSA for consideration.
