Earlier this year, Schneider Electric released its Microgrid Solution focused on small and medium sized buildings to the Canadian market. The solution integrates distributed energy resources for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational facilities. Con’s Electric Company Limited was established in 1985. Based in Timmins, Ontario — 700 kilometres north of Toronto — their location is central to Ontario’s mining and lumber industries.
The total value of investment in residential construction increased 3.9% to $30.8 billion in the second quarter compared with the same quarter in 2015. This marked the 10th consecutive year-over-year advance. Higher investment in every component contributed to the national growth, except semi-detached dwellings, which recorded their fifth consecutive year-over-year quarterly decline.
