2026 Ontario Apprenticeship Awards Call for Nominations

Skilled Trades Ontario is proud to open nominations for the 2026 Ontario Apprenticeship Awards, recognizing outstanding apprentices, journeypersons, organizations and skilled trades leaders who are helping strengthen Ontario’s apprenticeship system.

Award recipients will be announced at the Ontario Apprenticeship Summit on November 4, 2026, at the Toronto Congress Centre. Nominations must be submitted by September 25, 2026.

Skilled Trades Ontario Outstanding Apprentice Award:
Recognizes four exceptional apprentices, one from each region of Ontario, who demonstrate dedication, leadership, strong performance and commitment to their trade. Nominate now!

Skilled Trades Ontario Award of Excellence:
Recognizes an individual who has made valuable contributions to apprenticeship and certification, while promoting safety, equity, diversity and inclusion in the skilled trades. Nominate now!

Skilled Trades Ontario Trades Safety Champion Award:
Recognizes an organization that demonstrates exceptional leadership and commitment to workplace safety, helping apprentices learn and work in secure, healthy environments. Nominate now!

Outstanding Journeyperson Award:
Presented by the Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, this award recognizes a journeyperson who goes above and beyond to guide, mentor and support the success of their apprentice. Nominate now!

Nominations are a meaningful way to celebrate the people and organizations advancing Ontario’s skilled trades.

Submit your nomination by September 25, 2026 and help recognize excellence in apprenticeship.
