VISO Inc.’s pendant light, Moss, blends LED technology with organic design.

While its main function is to light a space, Moss explores the connection between nature and technology. The inspiration for Filipe Lisboa, Founder and Head Designer of VISO, is to construct light that creates a serene setting utilizing the latest technologies. The metalization process used to form the polycarbonate body has been perfected by Lisboa and ensures that the finishes on the fixture does not peel, bubble, or fade. Each globe is put into a vacuum, along with the corresponding metals required for the finish to avoid contamination during the process. The technology required is complicated, yet the final product created has a connection to the natural world around us.

Moss’s polycarbonate body is surrounded by 43 1W LED glass globes. When lit, this energy efficient pendant light exudes an organic feeling, as if you are walking through a forest.

The pendant itself measures 710mm (28”) in circumference and hangs 3710mm (145”) from floor to ceiling. The polycarbonate body is available in Chrome, Gold or Copper finish and the glass globes come in fully frosted or half metalized. The ability to customise Moss allows the client to set the tone within their own environment.

Our products are fully listed for North America with a cETLus mark and certified to CSA and UL standards.
