Through scholarships, BC Hydro is looking to build the next generation of electricians, engineers, and many other key roles who will help deliver clean energy for generations.

Awards are available through the following programs: endowments, post-secondary scholarships, engineering scholarships, and Indigenous scholarships.

BC Hydro’s Indigenous scholarships and bursaries are available to Status, Non-Status, Metis and Inuit students who are residents of BC and are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program. Students in Grade 12 planning to pursue an accredited post-secondary education within Canada are also eligible to apply.

In this category, BC Hydro offers the following:

• One Randy Brant Memorial scholarship — awarded to our top applicant, based on a combination of academic achievement, community involvement, and pursuit of a BC Hydro career.

• $5,000 scholarships allocated to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a full-time course load.

• $2,000 bursaries allocated to students pursuing a diploma, certificate or trade program, or a part-time degree.

Deadline for applications: May 15, 2018.
