NECA Releases 40 New Education Courses on General Business Topics

To provide more resources to members, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) has partnered with online training provider OpenSesame to offer some of the more than 20,000 courses in its online training catalogue.

OpenSesame Inc. is an educational technology company that provides an online marketplace for buying and selling e-learning courses focusing primarily on employee training. Its online training platform connects content providers with employees and businesses for online training resources and specially designed courses for professionals, which can be accessed through a learning management system.

To kick off this offering, NECA has curated a list of 40 general business and office courses for our membership. This includes courses on:

• Communication
• Conflict Resolution
• Creating Strong Team Culture
• Employee Motivation
• Individual Listening Skills
• Management Skills
• Managing Different Generations
• Microsoft Office Introductory and Advanced Training
• Planning and Prioritizing
• Sexual Harassment
• Time Management
• Writing Letters and Emails

A full list of courses can be viewed on the NECA Learning Center here. Course price varies based on length, with more than half under US$20 and all under US$40.

NECA intends to release additional curated courses in the weeks ahead.
