Brady’s M611 mobile label printer uses mobile device technology to deliver dependable printing capabilities in the field. When paired with the new Brady Workstation Express Labels mobile app, this complete solution provides time- and labour-saving advantages. The app allows for label editing and creation in the field, and provides the ability to access and receive label files from the cloud or directly via email.

“Mobile devices have become an essential tool in our day-to-day lives to keep us connected to the information we need to get things done, but these devices have largely been untapped in the identification industry,” says Nicole Nelson, global product manager for portable systems at Brady. “The BradyPrinter M611 with the express labels app allows customers to tap into what they use every day — their mobile device — to access their label data, make changes and print via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi wherever they are without a trip back to the office.”

The app is designed for easy use on the go. The intuitively designed software integrates touchscreen technology for fast and easy label creation, including a native keyboard for natural typing, auto-save capabilities and easy-to-use editing tools.

“The app builds upon the best parts of a mobile device and combines them with our intuitive software capabilities to achieve their full potential in label identification,” says Christopher Samz, global product manager for software at Brady. “With capabilities as common-place as pinch-to-zoom, to in-depth guided label creation for a variety of identification applications, this app truly brings mobile label identification to the next level of ease of use.”

The BradyPrinter M611 mobile label printer also includes smart-cell technology that communicates with the printer, software and label and ribbon materials to make label setup and creation fast and easy. The printer’s long-lasting lithium ion battery ensures the printer is powered all day and can even charge mobile devices in a pinch. The rugged and compact design, which also includes an auto cutter, is designed for easy use in even the harshest or cramped environments.
