Eaton Promotes Jon Wehrli to Lead Utility Power Systems Organization in Americas

Eaton has named Jon Wehrli president of its Power Systems Division, Electrical Sector. Wehrli is based in the Milwaukee area and reports to Brian Brickhouse, president of the Electrical Sector, Americas region.

Utilities are working to modernize aging infrastructure to keep pace with change. Wehrli is leading the Eaton team helping utilities manage change through innovations in power delivery and reliability, automation and control, advanced metering and demand response, including:

  • Expansive solutions to help utilities reduce wildfire risk and fortify the electric grid   
  • Industry-exclusive technologies for underground distribution systems that help utilities replace vintage equipment to improve grid reliability and reduce outage duration
  • Cutting-edge software that enables utilities to better manage the growth of renewable energy resources  

Wehrli began his career at Eaton more than 34 years ago and most recently served as the vice president, general manager of the power reliability team. He was previously a division operations manager for Eaton’s engineering services.
