Below is a statement from Heather and Elaine Gerrie, Co-Presidents and CEOs

“On behalf of the Gerrie family, we hope that you and your families have remained healthy since the beginning of this Pandemic. Gerrie branches have been closed to non employees since mid March to protect you, our respected customers, and our valued employees. We are pleased to share that to-date our team at Gerrie has remained healthy.

Our Pandemic team continues to meet twice a week to keep abreast of the changing requirements to government guidelines and ensure our organization is following these procedures. Our Executive has calls twice a week with all our Managers to advise and address any issues with regards to COVID-19 and ways to continue to service you, our customers, as seamlessly as possible. There are daily communications with all our team to keep them up to speed on government information and current Gerrie information.

We have had approximately 200 of our employees working remotely since April, providing the same level of service you have come to expect when you call or email us. For those of our team who had roles that required they work in our facilities, we educated them and posted the importance of respecting physical distancing and thorough washing of hands. We owe each of them a huge thank you for coming in to work every day to look after you, our valued customers. We thank you for your continued confidence in us to support you and your company with our products and services.

After careful planning and execution to create a safe environment for you to come back inside Gerrie, we are pleased to announce that we have opened our branches so you can safely enter our facilities to place new orders or pick up your products. For your safety and ours, our teams are happy to pick all your items as we have closed off access to the open concept counters. We have implemented all the government recommendations to protect your health and the well being of all our employees. We have increased our cleaning processes to ensure thorough cleaning of high touch surfaces to ensure everyone’s safety.

We continue to offer phoning and emailing in orders, and encourage placing orders through the web which has a 2% rebate (some exclusions apply) running until June 30, 2020. No matter what method, your order will be picked/packed and ready for pick up in half an hour (if stocked at your location of choice/excluding wire cuts) or same day or next day contactless delivery dependent on product availability.

We look forward to welcoming you back into our facilities to continue passionately help you and your company be more successful.

Wishing you continued good health.”
