Bender has been selected to support an urgent delivery of IPPs (Isolated Power Panels) to new and existing hospitals across Mexico. A trusted partner of Mexico hospitals and consultants, Bender was specified early on during the pandemic to be a potential supplier of critical care power. As such, over 700 IPPs were sent to various hospitals across the country, many of these hospitals being recently built specifically to fight COVID-19.

In addition to supplying IPPs for the new COVID-19 hospitals, Bender has continued to supply major construction projects throughout the Americas. Employees continue to support consultants, contractors, and hospitals to help meet the increase capacity, while Bender field service technicians have ceaselessly traveled to facilities to ensure urgent repairs are completed as swiftly as possible.

Steve Mason, Vice President of the Americas Region at Bender Inc., stated, “Bender works extensively in the healthcare sector and takes immense satisfaction and pride in knowing that we are able to help the incredible employees and staff at these healthcare facilities carry out their work, delivering world-class medical intervention, and saving many lives in the battle against COVID. It is extremely rewarding to have been able to contribute in what we consider a small way. We’re proud to play our part.”

As the pandemic began, the need for Bender products significantly increased. Bender was prepared for this increase early on as the company already has a reliable IT and phone infrastructure in place, allowing the majority of their staff to work from home safely and efficiently. Since Bender designs and manufactures its core products itself and employs a rigorous supplier selection process for subcomponents it does not manufacture, they have been well setup to respond to the challenge. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility produces only the highest-quality IPPs, which is why Mexico hospitals and consultants elected Bender for the job.
