KNIPEX Tools Insulated Screwdrivers

May 31, 2021

KNIPEX Tools introduced its full line of 1,000V VDE-tested insulated screwdrivers (98 series). With 13 SKUs in total, the insulated screwdrivers are available in slotted, Phillips and square tips. This new offering also includes 11 insulated tool sets.

The insulated screwdrivers feature an anti-roll away handle design and the two-component handle material provides exceptional gripping performance. Each insulated screwdriver has a hang hole for easier storage. The insulated screwdrivers are made of chrome vanadium molybdenum steel.

The insulated screwdrivers are the latest addition to KNIPEX Tools’ line of rigorously tested insulated tools, which includes over 250 skus. Each one of KNIPEX’s insulated tools undergoes a dielectric strength at 10,000V AC. Other tests check the reliability of the insulation towards heat, cold, tensile and impact force.

“With the addition of the insulated screwdrivers, KNIPEX is proud to add a new dimension to our trusted and innovative line of hand tools,” said Peter A. Grable, senior product manager, KNIPEX Tools. “These insulated screwdrivers are designed to stay put when set down on a jobsite, give the user a better grip and provide the necessary safety one needs from an insulated tool.”
