EasyHeat™ RG Cable prevents costly damage to roofs caused by ice formation and snow accumulation in gutters, downspouts, and roof valleys. The self-regulating heating cable automatically varies its heat output as the surrounding temperature changes. They are suitable for use on asphalt or wood shingles, metal roofing or “membrane” type roofing and downspouts that freeze and clog.

  • Available for 120 or 208-240 Vac applications
  • 12 Watts of heavy-duty heating power, quickly and easily melts through frozen ice buildups
  • Keeps melt water pathways open in larger commercial gutters, drains and downspouts
  • The self-regulating design allows the cable to be overlapped without producing hot spots
  • Waterproof, flame retardant and UV sun-resistant, polyolefin outer jacket withstands harsh weather conditions
  • Two thermoplastic inner jackets for dielectric strength and additional core protection
  • 16 AWG bus wires
  • Tinned copper grounding braid
  • Maximum single cable lengths up to 370 ft (112.8 m)
  • Reels are cut to customer specification, in continuous lengths up to 1,000 ft (304.8 m)
