Introducing Covergall 2.0: Elevating Personal Protective Equipment To New Levels

February 8, 2024

Covergalls announces the release of their updated coverall: the Covergall 2.0. The redesigned workwear is powered by intelligent, quality designs that make the search for great personal protective equipment (PPE) even easier.

Improving on the original award-winning Covergall design, Covergall 2.0 now gives workers a variety of new, intuitive features that just make sense. Taking inspiration from Covergalls past, and created via rigorous new testing, the high-performance Canadian PPE is designed to support women workers everywhere.

“Safety, comfort, and inclusion are not just features; they’re the heartbeats of Covergall 2.0, ensuring every woman feels confident in her workwear” says Alice Woods, Covergalls’ chief executive officer and founder. “I am so proud of our finished product, and know it will look and perform great.”

Sharen Brownson, a heavy-equipment operator for Impala Canada’s Lac des Iles, as well as Erin Satterthwaite, Chief Corporate Officer for Impala Canada, helped in testing alongside a number of other incredible women workers. Their feedback was a big inspiration for the changes made to Covergalls’ coverall.

Providing High-Performing PPE With Great Features

The new diamond shaped crotch gusset offers users extra comfort and helps prevent the nuisance of work pants ripping in the crotch area. The technical design helps keep the structure of the fabric, which is under constant tension and stretch during work days, intact.

The new three-part knee provides workers greater articulation, comfort and protection against wear and tear. The three-part design allows for better coverage and a more adaptable fit.

The added adjustable velcro tab on the lower pants allows variable boot widths, and the updated adjustable double velcro waist with rear opening, efficient removability. The curved shaped waistband also helps prevent fabric from gaping or bagging along the hips.

Another exciting, and much demanded, feature of Covergall 2.0 is the multi-function pockets. Users now have the ability to quickly and safely store tools and sanitary items in even more locations: 2 chest pockets, 2 back pockets, 2 side pockets (with a sanitary mesh pocket), and 2 deep cargo pants pockets.

Later this year, Covergalls plans to also offer the Covergall 2.0 in their new sustainable W2W fabric and release an updated cargo pants, which will carry some of these enhancements. The new Bib Coverall, currently in the works, includes all the same enhancements including zippers at the ankles.

By providing tailored solutions, Covergall 2.0 aims to empower workers with confidence and continue to provide inclusivity, safety and comfort.
