September 19, 2024

IPEX by Aliaxis has expanded its electrical and telecommunication product catalog for the Canadian provinces with the launch of a newly redesigned line of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) products: FiberTel® Micro HDPE Microducts.

The orange Microducts are designed with a ribbed inner surface to reduce friction and facilitate fiber cable installation. The ribbed inner surface and smooth outer surface allow easier duct installation. Available in 18/14mm and 14/10mm sizes, and other sizes can be made available upon request. These microducts are flexible, durable, lightweight, easy to install, and made with prime-grade resin.

The FiberTel HDPE construction contributes to an increased lifespan and lower maintenance costs. The unique IPEX formulation also protects against the harmful effects of excessive ultraviolet rays. As a result, no special covering, coating, or protection is required for exterior installations. Additionally, the longitudinal ribbed inner surface allows for easier fiber installations and is sequentially printed with footage markings.

Used for communication, data, and fiber cable installations, FiberTel Microducts are ideal for both short runs and cross-country distances. The flexibility of the material allows for easy bending during installation.
