Now Available: New Greenlee® GX10 Tugger™

January 24, 2025

Greenlee®, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, recently introduced the GX10 Tugger™ that delivers up to double the pulling speed and a higher continuous pull rating than legacy tuggers for faster job completion and cost savings.

The GX10 features an industry-leading customized motor that delivers 10,000 pounds of pulling force to increase productivity and help reduce the risk of strain. The dual-speed motor provides durability at a steady pull speed with continuous operation at 0 pounds to 6,500 pounds; 5 minutes on/5 minutes off at 6,500 pounds to 9,000 pounds; and momentary operation at 9,000 pounds to 10,000 pounds.

Multi-purpose foot switch controls speed and start/stop operation; right angle sheave keeps operators out of direct line of pulls; and force indicator helps prevent damage to puller and cable. Its flexible setup and multiple mounting options also make it easily adaptable to all types of job sites, including mega sites and work in tight and confined spaces. The GX10 is compatible with Greenlee’s Pull Connect™ and Mobile VersiBoom™ II.

“We are proud to introduce the GX10 Tugger, a continuation of Greenlee’s legacy of offering the best 10,000-pound tuggers in the market. The industry needs reliable and efficient tools now more than ever and the GX10 uniquely delivers that,” said Alex Carey, Product Manager, Greenlee for Emerson.

The GX10 not only increases productivity with its pulling force, but its reliable performance has the potential to save up to $10,000 annually over legacy tuggers and $5,500 annually over comparable industry models. Greenlee pulling solutions cater to electrical contractors and utility companies’ toughest projects and are designed to meet demanding electrical needs. Greenlee recently added the Pull Connect™, a pulling accessory with a simple, easy-to-use design that wirelessly connects both sides of a cable pull and allows it to be stopped from either side.
