New Delta HexaVolt Transformer by Delta Transformers

Delta Transformers is proud to announce the launch of its new Delta HexaVolt transformer, an innovative solution that streamlines and enhances electrical systems in multi-unit apartment buildings.

Delta HexaVolt distribution transformers are designed to simplify installation and reduce space in electrical systems.  By combining three single-phase transformers into one efficient unit, it significantly reduces installation time, saves space, and enhances energy efficiency compared to traditional setups involving three separate single-phase transformers.

Key Benefits:

  • Simplified Installation: The HexaVolt transformer integrates three single-phase transformers into one compact unit, reducing installation time by up to 66%. With just one transformer to install, the process requires less time and fewer materials, reducing overall installation costs.
  • Space Savings: The compact design minimizes the overall surface area and reduces heat rejection, making it easier to fit within electrical room constraints. By combining three single-phase transformers into one, it offers 38% smaller footprint in electrical rooms.
  • Enhanced Energy Efficiency: Operating on a three-phase system, this transformer is more efficient than three single-phase systems used at full load, leading to lower energy consumption and cost savings over time. Engineered for optimal performance, it helps save up to 20% in energy consumption.
  • Reduced Clutter: Typical electrical systems involve three single-phase transformers, 12 anchors, three switches, and numerous bulky cables, cluttering often cramped electrical rooms. The HexaVolt transformer changes this with a compact, all-in-one solution featuring one three-phase fed transformer, three single-phase outputs, and requires only four anchors and one switch.

“We are excited to introduce the HexaVolt transformer, a solution that represents a major step forward in the efficiency and simplicity of electrical systems for multi-unit buildings. This innovation reflects our continued commitment to improving electrical technologies,” said Mario Mongrain, National Sales Manager at Delta Transformers.

The HexaVolt transformer is an example of our commitment to advancing electrical technology to meet the changing needs of our customers.
