ABB Emergi-Lite: New ESAU Series Surface-Mount Architectural Battery Unit

June 13, 2025

ESAU Series: Engineered for Easy Installation, Combining Performance with Simplicity & Style

The ESAU Series surface-mount architectural unit is designed specifically for installations requiring a junction box, whether recessed, surface-mounted, or suspended. Engineered for easy installation, it combines performance with simplicity and style, making it a smart choice for commercial and architectural environments.

Unlike equipment with adjustable lights, the ESAU Series makes the installation faster and prevents errors leading to
insufficient lighting on the path of egress. The ESAU Series delivers a stable and consistent illumination making it easy to specify in a wide range of applications. The spacing of illumination ranges from 18.9 to 24.4m (62 to 80 feet) for standard units (corridor). The area-of-rescue option covers a square surface up to 8.2m x 8.2m= 67.2m2 (27′ x 27’= 729ft2).
