Kitchen Countertop Outlets from Legrand

September 29, 2025

The Kitchen Countertop Outlet is a code-compliant, UL 498-certified solution for kitchen islands and peninsulas, featuring a compact design and quick connection for easy installation. Passing a strict half-gallon spill test, the outlet ensures reliability and performance, offering the utmost safety for homeowners. The outlet can withstand strong wear and tear, with built-in corrosion/chemical resistance, and the surface-mount design makes everyday cleaning easy to help maintain long-term aesthetic. Purchase the outlet with an optional lid, which comes in four cast metal options to match or complement kitchen finishes.

  • UL 498 rated for Countertop or Work Surface Assembly, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Features a quick connecting termination tail that is wired above the counter and a hand-turn nut that requires no tools under the counter
  • Required installation downstream or connected to a GFCI breaker
  • Requires a 2-inch to 2.25-inch hole drilled into the countertop, which is dependent on the inclusion of a lid (an extra .25-inch is required with a lid)
  • Pair with optional cast metal iron available in four finishes: Matte Black, Matte White, Stainless Steel & Champagne Bronze
  • Compact, surface-mount design blends in with design aesthetic and kitchen finishes
  • Can withstand heavy wear and tear and is corrosion/chemical resistant
  • For use on kitchen island or peninsula countertops
  • Features tamper resistant shutters to protect against insertion of foreign objects
  • Smallest profile in the industry. Compared to the competition, it has a smaller diameter and less depth, taking up nearly 40% less space on and under the counter
  • Receptacle and tail assembly is suitable for install without a junction box
