GE Energy Management Names Two New Commercial Leaders

GE Energy Management has appointed Darryl L. Wilson Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, holding global responsibility for sales and marketing across the Energy Management (EM) portfolio. Agostino Renna has been named Chief Commercial officer for the Industrial Solutions business. Wilson and Renna will focus on delivering unique solutions to meet customer and industry challenges in the 150 countries where Energy Management operates.

With 23 years of GE experience, Darryl joins Energy Management from GE’s Distributed Power business, a global supplier of power equipment and service, where he was Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Wilson’s previous GE positions include President and CEO of GE Power — Aeroderivative Products; President and CEO, GE Consumer & Industrial — Asia Pacific; Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, GE Consumer & Industrial — Europe, Middle East & Africa; and President and CEO, GE Consumer Products — Europe, Middle East, Africa & India; (EMEAI). He has been a GE company officer since 2005.

Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and an MBA in marketing from Indiana University.
As Industrial Solutions’ Chief Commercial Officer, Agostino Renna will assume global leadership for its commercial organization and advancing progress as a digital industrial company. He will be based in Atlanta.

Most recently, Renna has served as GE Lighting President and CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joined GE in 2011 as Vice President of Growth and Market Strategy, leading efforts around the long-term growth and market positioning of GE’s businesses in Canada. Earlier in his career, Renna spent 14 years at Johnson Controls Inc., where he held sales, marketing, strategy and general management leadership roles.

Renna holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and thought leadership events focused on global energy challenges.
