PowerStream’s ongoing dedication to outstanding initiatives that support employee engagement and satisfaction has earned the utility recognition as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for the sixth consecutive year.

Now in its 12th year, the annual Greater Toronto’s Top Employers competition recognizes companies that are leaders in their industries. These companies offer the most forward-thinking and progressive programs in areas such as community involvement, training and skills development, performance management, and benefits packages.

PowerStream received this honour for having programs in place that support and benefit employees, including vanpool/carpool commuting, wellness programs, regular staff communications through e-newsletters and digital channels, encouraging fitness club memberships, and an onsite cafeteria with healthy food choices.

As a community-owned company and a top employer, PowerStream is committed to the ongoing development of its employees and so also offers a variety of in-house and online training courses, apprenticeships, co-operative education opportunities as well as subsidies for tuition and professional accreditations.
