The Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) has honoured industry leaders in sustainable development and corporate responsibility at an awards ceremony in Toronto.

“Sustainable practices and responsible corporate policies are mandatory requirements by all CEA members,” said Sergio Marchi, President and CEO of CEA. “The winners of the 2017 Sustainable Electricity™ awards have demonstrated an unrivalled commitment to providing electricity services in a sustainable, safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner.”

Sustainable Electricity is a sector-wide initiative implemented jointly by CEA and its members that promotes the integration of sustainable, responsible policies in business decision-making, and continuous improvement of environmental, social, and economic performance.
