After 31 years of service with Rexel Canada, Rachelle Caron, General Manager, Westburne Quebec has decided to retire, effective January 31, 2018.

Rachelle began her career in the Distribution industry in 1985 as a Controller and Assistant to the General Manager at Refac, which was acquired and became a division of Westburne in 1987. In 1993, she was promoted to Controller of Eastern Canada Region for Electrical, Plumbing and Refrigeration divisions. On April 1, 2002, Rachelle was promoted to her current position of General Manager, Westburne Quebec, which she transformed into a successful division staffed with a very strong team.

Rachelle is a prominent figure in the electrical industry in Quebec and will certainly be missed by her colleagues and industry peers. Westburne would like to thank Rachelle for her dedicated leadership and for the contributions she has made to Rexel Canada throughout her tenure.

Westburne has also announced the forthcoming appointment of Nicholas Zigayer to the position of General Manager, Westburne Quebec. This appointment will become effective February 1, 2018.  Nick joined the Westburne organization in October 2015 as a Divisional Sales Manager and has since focused on divisional sales strategy and direction. He has provided the division a fresh and innovative perspective to ensure that Westburne Quebec leads in the Quebec market.

Nick brings over 20 years’ experience in sales leadership. He held the positions of Sales Manager & General Manager at SimplexGrinnell (division of Tyco) and as VP of Sales at Ecosystem. Through these assignments, he has established a solid track record of creating and managing efficient structures, strategies, and processes in sales and operations. He is also member of the Quebec Order of Engineers. Westburne is confident that Nick will build on its existing momentum, and will accelerate the efforts to grow its position in the Quebec market
