Intertek Warns of Safety Concern for “Smart Electrician” GFCIs

Ground fault circuit interrupters manufactured by Huizhou Faith Electric Manufacture under the brand name “Smart Electrician” may fail to properly break the circuit in a fault.
The safety concerns involve models GLX-15ATR (cETLus certification mark with Control Number 4008942) and GLX-20ATR: cETLus certification mark with Control Number 4008942). Both were manufactured before February 2018.
The products require a test and reset to operate as intended. Distributors and retailers with on hand inventories manufactured before February 2018 should discontinue sales and return all inventories to their suppliers.
