Saskatchewan Adopts 2018 CE Code Part 1

In line with past practices, SaskPower Electrical Inspections will allow a grace period and begin enforcing the new code on January 1, 2019.

The 2011 M421 Standard for use of Electricity in Mines and the 2015 Code for Electrical Installations at Oil and Gas Facilities will continue to be enforced.

The 2018 Saskatchewan Interpretations will be available on the SaskPower website, www.saskpower.com, this month. Also available: an online 2018 Canadian Electrical Code training course and the 2015 Code for Electrical Installations at Oil and Gas Facilities .
