With over 37 years in the energy and infrastructure sectors, Lister has grown OEC and its family of businesses to become a leading energy and infrastructure services organization throughout Ontario and beyond. Through 12 operating brands, OEC operates a dynamic portfolio of synergistic businesses specializing in electricity distribution, infrastructure services, energy services, and generation.

“Rob is an outstanding leader in our industry who walks the talk on all fronts,” says EHRC CEO Michelle Branigan. “The performance of his company and his overall contributions to our sector is second to none.”

Rob’s commitment to innovation and people at OEC is well-known. His participation and input on a wide range of provincial and national boards shows the respect he has garnered from peers, as well as his commitment to not only working to support his own company, but the industry overall.

Rob’s leadership and incredible character inspires his colleagues and peers, and he has built a culture of innovation and excellence at OEC where everyone understands the value they bring to the business.

The Leader of the Year award was established by EHRC in 2013 as part of its Awards of Excellence program to recognize and celebrate an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to their organization within the Canadian electricity industry.

Lister will receive his award at a gala event on February 21. Watch future issues for details.
