The current COVID 19 pandemic has impacted all of us, including our post-secondary students who are faced with extreme uncertainty about their future education and career goals. The ECAO Scholarship Award can provide some financial relief to those students.

In recognition of the importance of education and the need to have post-secondary graduates enter into the construction industry, the ECAO established a “Scholarship Program” in 2004. The objective of this program is to provide financial support for deserving children or wards of salaried personnel of member companies, for the purpose of attending recognized post-secondary institutions, and to encourage such individuals to attain a high level of academic achievement.

Attached you will find the 2020 Scholarship Application Form. The award selection is based on academic achievement in the previous academic year, extracurricular activities and past employment experience. The application submission should be handwritten and the course of study will also be an important aspect of selection. All submissions will be reviewed by the ECAO Scholarship Committee.

The deadline for submission is July 31, 2020.  The application can also be found on our website at https://www.ecao.org/membership-recognition

Submissions can be sent electronically to Cathy at cfrederickson@ecao.org or Kamakshi at kahluwalia@ecao.org or mailed to the ECAO office.
