Safety & Technical Training

In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, ESA will not be scheduling additional public classroom courses at this time. They will continue to monitor provincial and regional health measures, and key public health indicators.

Online courses are continuing as scheduled. Virtual classroom courses will be offered early 2021. Additional information will be posted to the Safety & Technical Training section of the ESA website as it becomes available.

Master Electrician Examinations

ESA is currently facing a high demand for Master Electrician Examinations (ME Exam). Due to the ongoing Pandemic situation, examination offerings are limited.

Please note that your health and safety, as well as the heath and safety of ESA representatives is their highest priority. ESA is working on adding more ME Exam dates for 2021. Check our website regularly for updates.

ESA is also working on a virtual proctor option allowing you to write the ME Exam from the safety of your home, provided you have secure internet access and a computer with a web-camera. If you would prefer to take a virtually-proctored ME Exam, ESA expects them to be available early in 2021. Update will be posted on the ESA website as available.
