Continuing Education for FSR Renewal 2021

Electrical FSR renewals began January 1 2021, so now is a good time to get started on the continuing education requirement you must complete before you renew.

If you hold a class A, B, or C certificate, you are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education with Technical Safety BC or a recognized training provider.

If you hold a restricted class A, B, or C certificate, or you hold a grandparented class certificate, you must complete 4 hours of continuing education.

Visit the Technical Safety BC certificate renewal page to learn more about renewing your FSR certificate, and where to register for courses that count towards your continuing education requirement.
